Nicki Minaj broke things off with longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels several months ago. But somehow, the Twitter drama continues...

On Saturday (March 7), The PinkPrint superstar shared this rather cryptic tweet (which was later deleted):

@NICKIMINAJ: "I'll always love you."

Interesting - rumors suggest that perhaps Minaj and Samuels would have celebrated their anniversary around this time. The former couple was romantically involved for 11 years - that's serious commitment!

And of course, the aspiring emcee had something to say about it:

@SCAFFBEEZY: "im not gonna front like i dnt kno wat today woulda been I hope ur happy and wish u nothing but the best... luv u 4ever. no love lost."

Wow - is Samuels actually trying to win his former sweetheart back? This emotional response later disappeared from his official Twitter feed, too. Probably because the "Anaconda" twerker was not impressed with the "Burner" rapper's loving shout-out:

@NICKIMINAJ: "Please stop."

Ouch. Apparently Minaj would rather re-focus good vibes on her blossoming relationship with Meek Mill:

@NICKIMINAJ: "When you meet a person who cares about you as much as u care about them, hold on to them. Most ppl can only think about themselves... (retweet) @MeekMill - #Monster and #BBoy on iTunes (link)."

Meanwhile, Samuels continues hyping his own new single entitled "It Is What It Is" -

But if Minaj didn't want to reignite any cyber drama, should she have even mentioned anything about "everlasting love" on social media? The YMCMB darling's growing romantic chemistry with her "Buy a Heart" collaborator seems pretty serious - maybe she should just focus on that!

Sound-off in the comments section below - will the two ever really move-on?
