Cash Money Records still refuses to release Lil Wayne's highly-anticipated upcoming album, The Carter V. However ,that does NOT mean that Weezy's music career is faltering. In fact, the New Orleans emcee continues hyping new music on his own time!

UPDATE: Lil Wayne vs. Juvenile Beef, Birdman 'Hate' Ignored Amid Cash Money 'Respect' & J. Prince/Drake Diss [WATCH]: Hypes New 'Mardi Gras II' Mixtape Release

Rumors suggest that Wayne will surprise fans with the #FreeWeezy album sometime later this month (perhaps March 20). The "Only" crooner also continues hyping fresh beats from the release of his viral Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape. The official music video for "HollyWeezy" should hit YouTube soon. Meanwhile, #TeamWeezy supporters can enjoy this sneak-peek clip:

It's actually a huge relief to see that Weezy remains so focused on his music, because the YMCMB hypeman still seems VERY interested in pursuing his other biggest passion - skateboarding. Right now, Wayne's official Twitter feed is full of skater boy pride. Check it out:

@LilTunechi: "Fut deez hataz thro yo board up if u sk8 too!!!! Sk8 everyday Stu every night #FWA."

@LilTunechi: "#FWA."

Weezy once revealed that The Carter V would be his last studio album, because he wants to take skateboarding more seriously (perhaps professionally). Does that revelation seem more believable at this point? Wayne talked about his rap "retirement" back in November 2012, but thankfully it doesn't look like he's slowing down in the studio anytime soon. Birdman can't win!

Meanwhile, a crazy #RIP "death hoax" recently took the "How To Love" emcee as its latest cyber victim. Simply not true - Weezy is still alive and well, skating and rapping like he does best!
