Reports confirm that popular comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham married his fitness instructor girlfriend Audrey Murdick in a private wedding ceremony in Santa Ynez, CA on Friday. 50-year-old Dunham recently admitted to People magazine that three months prior to the big day, he followed the same strict diet and exercise routine that Murdick practices when training for a National Physique Committee bikini competition - the results proved worth it. Dunham lost 25 pounds thanks to Murdick's help, and he claims that he now weighs what he did as a teen back in high school.

In order to lose the weight, Dunham honed in on a diet high in protein, low in carbs, moderate in healthy fats, and free of gluten/dairy/alcohol. The "Comedy Central" star also did cardio six to seven days a week plus three days of weight training. The hard work paid off - Dunham looked stellar in his tux on the wedding day (check it out).

The couple exchanged vows at Sunstone Vineyards and Winery with only about 112 guests present. At the Batman-themed reception, the duo decided to take a break from their heavy-duty health regime and indulge. There was chicken-fried Angus steak with cream gravy, roasted sweet potatoes with rosemary and pecans, macaroni and cheese with a crispy panko topping; iron-skillet cornbread with honey butter... and of course a lavish cake that resembled the Batmobile.

Murdick was Dunham's fitness trainer and nutritionist, and they began dating in 2009. The father-of-three (married once before) proposed in December of 2011. Despite the age difference (Murdick is only 32) the newlyweds seem extremely happy - they are now planning a cross-country honeymoon.

"No matter what the day, we go to sleep laughing, and we wake up laughing," the pair released in a public statement. "We can't imagine a love any better than this."

Dunham's Halloween standup special "Minding the Monsters," the highest-rated standup special on Comedy Central this year, will re-air on Oct. 20 and 31. The comic is set to embark on another tour entitled "Disorderly Conduct" in November.
