Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is still reeling from her arrest for driving without a license and the big blowup with her fiancé Nathan Griffith that led to his arrest for domestic violence. Now, the MTV star has to deal with a custody battle with mom Barbara over her son Jace who has been acting out in school.

"The constant fighting all the time is affecting Jace at school," a source told Radar Online. "He gets scared whenever he goes over to Jenelle and Nathan's house and the teachers notice it every time. It's a pattern."

"He's not doing his schoolwork, getting in fights," the source continued. "It's noted every time he goes there on his weekly progress report. The teachers know what's going on."

With all of the drama going on with the reality star, Barbara doesn't want her grandson to witness the bad behavior.

"When Barbara took custody of him, she wanted to raise him and protect him so he wouldn't grow up in trouble," according to the gossip site. "So he'd be an upstanding kid. It's just affecting him too much to be there. This is all for protection of him."

As MStars News reported, Jenelle is taking her mother to court to gain custody of her son because she feels that Barbara is trying to keep him away from her. It has been more evident when Jenelle wants to spend time with her 5-year-old.

"Jenelle asked her mom if she could simply take Jace to the movies," a source told Radar. "But Barbara said no, that they had plans."

"Jenelle told her mom, 'It's not to sleep over - it's just to go see a movie,'" the source went on. "[Barbara] insisted they had plans and said it was too bad. Barbara then said they could make visitation whenever they go to court."

Do you think the drama in Jenelle's life is affecting Jace's behavior?
