Police have responded to a phone call regarding shots fired at the Lil Wayne's Miami mansion. News station WSVN news is reporting that the unknown caller from another location told the dispatcher that four people may be seriously injured.

Lil Wayne's record label released a statement and says the rapper is ok and wasn't home during the shooting.

According to 7 News, police don't believe that this is a "SWATTING" case and the officers are taking precaution before entering the home. A person from the rapper's entourage arrived at the scene and is currently talking to the authorities.

This news comes 11 days after a suspicious person was seen lurking around the rapper's La Gorce Island mansion. As reported, the New Orleans native has been caught in legal drama with his former friend Birdman and is suing his label for immediate release from his contract and to take artists Nicki Minaj and Drake with him.
