Hannah Davis Dating Derek Jeter? Yankees Captain Injured during ALCS, Ralph Lauren Model Begins Trending On Web

Hannah Davis, the stunning 22-year-old fashion model best known for her campaign with Ralph Lauren fragrances, was spotted getting flirty and cozy with popular New York Yankees captain and shortstop Derek Jeter back in July. Since those earlier reports, nothing else ever really came of the dating rumors - until Jeter made headlines last week when he injured his ankle during Game 1 of the American League Championship Series against the Detroit Tigers. The ankle's broken, and Yanks fans were dismayed to hear that Jeter would have to sit out the rest of the postseason. Since the unfortunate event, Hannah Davis' name has begun trending again on the worldwide web. So what's the deal?

38-year-old Jeter has always been hush-hush about his personal dating life, althoug he is a very popular bachelor amongst the young Hollywood starlet crowd - he's been romantically linked to Mariah Carey, Jordana Brewster, Vanessa Minillo, Jessica Biel, and Minka Kelly. This past summer, Jeter was spotted with Davis at New York's Double Seven for the last Avenue A Soundcheck event (July 30). One witness told the New York Post at the time, "They were flirting, having a great time, and were sitting close together." The duo was also spotted together in Tampa, FL on a number of previous occasions.

So just who is the blonde bombshell, Hannah Davis? Her modeling profile on Fashion Model Directory states that she was born in the Virgin Islands, but is well-known for her modeling work in the States.  She is most famous for working with the campaign for Ralph Lauren's fragrance, Ralph Rocks, but she also worked for Victoria's Secret, Tommy Hilfiger, and L'Wren Scott. The young, green-eyed beauty was first discovered by photographer Ginny Edwards and then signed with IMG Models - she hopes to be "working with mentally handicapped children or a career in finance" in 10 years.
