The online hacker-group Anonymous has ousted a 30-year-old Vancouver, British Columbia man Kody Maxon as being Amanda Todd's cyber stalker and bully. The young Canadian teen committed suicide last week after being treacherously bullied by her peers, supposedly after Maxon posted pictures of her exposed breasts online. Anonymous claims that Maxson, an alleged Facebook employee, harassed 15-year-old Todd so unremittingly that she ultimately decided to take her own life.

Anonymous posted a YouTube video ousting Maxon as the stalker on Tuesday, but it has since been taken down. (for more info click here)

When she was in 7th grade, Todd was pressured by online "friends" to expose her breasts on a webcam. One year later, that came back to haunt Todd after a man (allegedly Maxon) Facebook messaged her, threatening to release the indecent pics if she "didn't put on a show for him." He knew all her personal information - address, friends, relatives... Todd soon after developed increased anxiety and depression brought on my drug and alcohol abuse. Even after changing schools, Todd couldn't escape the harmful impacts of cyber-bullying. Reports have it that Maxon spread the explicit photos of Todd amongst students of the two different schools she attended starting in 8th grade.

Along with the Anonymous video, the "hacktivists" posted a link to a Pastebin page with Maxson's personal information. Vice has also published information that allegedly proves Maxon is the stalker culprit.

It seems the tables have turned in such an unfortunate series of events - Maxon is now the one being cyber-bullied by Todd supporters (postings on the "Kody Maxon WILL Die" Facebook page were already so highly-controversial that Anonymous was forced to delete it).

(UPDATE: Anything with Kody Maxon's name has since been deleted from YouTube and Facebook and other popular social networking sites).

Canadian authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding Todd's death. Vancouver defense lawyer Eric Gottardi stated in an interview with CBC News that people should not get involved with the current allegations against Maxon: "The system isn't supposed to convict someone before charges are laid. It's not supposed to be judge, jury and executioner, all in the public forum. We have a justice system. It's supposed to work, it does work."
