The St. Louis Cardinals vs. the San Francisco Giants face off in Game 3 of the MLB National League Championship Series (NLCS) playoffs on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. The ballgame is set to start at 4:07 p.m. E.T. Read on to see where fans can watch a live stream and up-to-date live feed/coverage of the game online.
UPDATE: The NLCS Game 3 is currently delayed due to rain at the bottom of the 7th inning. Cardinals are leading 3-1. St Louis outfielder Carlos Beltran injured his knee and was taken out during the game. The rain is predicted to continue on for the next hour or so, but the game is set to commence again once it settles down.
Both teams will face off in a total of seven playoff games to determine which one advances on to the 2012 World Series to either play the New York Yankees or Detroit Tigers. Those two teams already battled it out in Games 1, 2, and 3 of the American League Championship Series (ALCS) - each ending in a Tigers victory. If the Yanks hope to stay alive, they'll have to win the pivotal Game 4 on Wednesday night at 8:07 p.m. at Comerica Park.
The Cardinals and Giants are currently tied-up in the Series, with St .Louis snagging a Game 1 victory (6-4) and San Francisco coming out on top of Game 2 (7-1).
Cardinals left fielder Matt Holliday slid into Giants' infielder Marco Scutaro in Game 2, banging the second baseman up pretty bad. Scutaro has since recovered and there's a "good chance" he will play in Game 3 Wednesday afternoon.
Both teams are deploying their no 1 regular season pitchers for Game 3, so should be a cut-throat ballgame - Kyle Lohse for the Cardinals and Matt Cain for the Giants.
The Game 3 ballgame will be broadcasted on FOX, but for those fans who can't make it to a television, MLB.tv offers a postseason online game package for $24.99. Although no live stream, espn.go and Gamecast both offer great ballgame updates on scores and lineups.

The NLDS and ALDS have both proved exciting and neck-to-neck this year, with all four playoff series making it up to the crucial Game 5. The Yankees, who ended their regular MLB season as AL East champs, won out over the Baltimore Orioles. The Detroit Tigers yo-yoed wins and losses with the Oakland Athletics, ultimately coming out victorious in the end. The San Francisco Giants battled it out with the Cincinnati Reds, winning Game 5 (6-4). The Cardinals finally ousted out the Nationals late Friday night, winning 9-7. The Cardinals vs. Giants will now battle it out in the NL Championship Series which takes place Oct. 14-Oct. 22. The winner of the series will then go on to play in the World Series.
