Looks like instead of the Detroit Tigers, Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez had his attentions focused on Australian bikini model Kyna Treacy during Game 1 of the American League Championship Series. Maybe A-Rod's flirtatious glances towards the brunette bombshell sitting in the Yankee Stadium stands on Saturday evening (Oct. 13) is what led to the Yankees loss in Game 1? (and Game 2, and Game 3...). Either way, A-Rod has been continuously benched in the Series (as the Yanks continue to falter), but at least he managed to get Treacy's digits, and in a very baseball-esque fashion, nonetheless.
Yankees "star" player Rodriguez seems to have lost his groove during the 2012 MLB postseason. Yankees manager Joe Girardi has consistently benched the 37-year-old ball player during the ALCS, because his recent up-at-bats have been quite horrible, to say the least. But at a time when A-Rod should have been focused on the ballgame (even if watching from the dugout) he was busying eyeing up 33-year-old Treacy in the stands.
Treacy, an Australian model who has her own swimwear line Kini Bikini, was sitting right behind the Yankees dugout at Game 1 with her Aussie pal Kate Quinn when A-Rod started eyeing the two women up (reports the New York Post). A witness confirmed to the Post that after Rodriguez was taken out of the game in the 8th inning, he wrote a note on a baseball and had the Yankees ball boy hand it over to Treacy. At first the former Bondi Beach girl was confused, because she'd already caught two balls. Then she saw the written note, which said that the girls should scribble down their phone numbers then throw the ball back. So, Treacy did. After that, the two continued exchanging flirty glances.

So there you have it folks, while his team was struggling with a 0-4 score against the Tigers, A-Rod was trying to score digits from a hot girl in the stands (the Yanks ended up losing Game 1 against the Tigers 4-6).
Onlookers claim that once teammate Derek Jeter got injured later on in the game (ultimately breaking his ankle), A-Rod stopped flirting. No word on whether he and Treacy ever set up a date, but still, he was benched again in Game 3, which goes to show that maybe going into pivotal Game 4 Wednesday night (Oct. 17) Rodriguez should keep his attention strictly on the game (if the Yanks lose, they will not be moving on to the World Series). But good for Treacy, she must have been flattered!
