It's a sad day in the neighborhood for all you Glee fans out there as the series is about to come to an end in the next couple of weeks. The last three episodes of the show will roll out in the next two weeks and while little is known about the show's final act, we are definitely not prepared to say goodbye to the McKinley High gang just yet.

According to E! News, the series finale of the Fox musical comedy will not only tie everyone's storylines together but it will also pay tribute to one of their own. The episode is said to honor Cory Monteith, who died during the show's fifth season.

Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet and Jenna Ushkowitz stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to give some spoilers on the series finale, as well as reveal what it was like filming those last scenes together.

And you better believe that it was an emotional experience for the gang to pay tribute to their friend Cory Monteith, as Chord told Ellen.

"There's a moment in the last episode that we have," Overstreet explained, "and obviously when we wrapped we all took a moment together."

Colfer seconded that, saying that Monteith's presence was felt on the set that final day. "We could feel him. He was there."

Darren also spoke up, saying that the moment was very cleansing and it was great to share it with his friend.

"It was really cathartic," the star explained. "Everyone's always like, 'Are you going to cry? Are you going to cry?' Of course you're going to cry! There were moments where I didn't feel the need to cry but then everyone else was and I felt like a jerk for not crying. And then I would join in and I'd be like, 'Oh my god this feels so good!' To cry it out felt so nice."

The two-hour series finale will air on March 20 on Fox.
