After just celebrating its one-year anniversary of the release of Titanfall, EA Games and Respawn Entertainment have officially confirmed a sequel in the works that won't be an Xbox One exclusive title! This time around, PlayStation 4 players will get the chance at the gameplay! PC players will get to enjoy this sequel just as they did the initial title. Find out more on this news below!

According to Respawn's CEO Vince Zampella, this new release has yet to be titled and will be multiplatform, which rumors have been speculating for a while now.

"I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don't know anything about it, or... yeah. So we're working on a sequel. No official name yet, but we're working on that," he explained, according to IGN (via Engadget) That's the main focus but we're starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It'll be multiplatform."

So what else can we expect from this new chapter of Titanfall? According to Zampella's admiration of Turtle Rock's DLC model for Evolve, we could see a similar process with Titanfall 2.

"I think that's a fantastic way to do it," he admitted. "I think having the maps like that in packs, it does split the community and it makes it harder for matchmaking, it's messy. Yeah. I don't know we won't do it again, I can't say that for sure, but the idea would be to do something different."
