'Looking' Season 2 New Recap: Are Jonathan Groff, Murray Bartlett, Russell Tovey "Looking for Sanctuary?'

HBO continues Season 2 of Looking with an all-new episode. Family brings out the worse in people when Kevin (Russell Tovey) joins Patrick (Jonathan Groff), Dom (Murray Bartlett), and Agustín (Frankie J. Alvarez), as they all learn what it means to be 'Looking for Sanctuary.'

Doris (Lauren Weedman) has bad news to tell Dom. A relative of hers is contesting the money left in her mother's will. This means Dom doesn't have the money to start his business and leaves him homeless. Dom cruelly takes out his frustrations on Doris and her dead father.  

While Doris continues to argue with Dom, Kevin has just bought a new apartment. Kevin meets with Patrick's mother (Julia Duffy) and tries to win her over with his charming personality. Patrick's mother really likes Kevin, but the biggest obstacle they will have to face is the sister,  Megan (Kelli Garner). Kevin asks Patrick if he wants to move in with him, but he isn't quite sure. 

Eddie is in deep trouble because the artist he hired to make the shelter's mural abruptly quit. Agustín unfortunately has to return to the art world, but he finds inspiration from one of the kids. Things get really awkward when Agustín meets an old flame and Eddie is right next to him.  

Eddie and Agustín are arguing about being referred to "as a friend." Agustín has never held back his feelings towards Eddie, who just wanted to fool around at first. Eddie finally tells Agustín that he wants to be his boyfriend. After making their relationship official, the two lock lips passionately. 

At the zoo, Patrick and his sister cannot get along. Megan refuses to sit with Kevin at Christmas time. Their mother tells them she is leaving her husband, their father, for another man.  Worried about their father, Patrick and his sister force themselves to make-up.

Patrick visits his mother one list time, asking if he was a mistake. Patrick's mother explains it in her own way; her previous marriage and her kids aren't "bullsh*t." He helps his mother pack her bags and watches the taxi leave, but never says goodbye.

Back at Kevin's apartment, Patrick tells him that he wants to move in. He also wants to spend Christmas with him, just the two of them. The two kiss, knowing they're taking the relationship one step further.
