Looks like Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld could very well become a hell of a lot wealthier very, very soon. Which is good because they need the money. Oh wait, no, they don't –– at all. But that doesn't mean they won't be seeing some pretty hefty residual checks when the streaming rights for their hit series Seinfeld are sold. Right now, it's being reported that Sony Pictures TV is offering the show to Hulu, Yahoo and Amazon and causing a bidding war of around $90 million. And Netflix? Well, it looks like they're "taking a pass" on the famed NBC series.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting, "The deal could fetch a price of well north of half a million dollars per episode. There are 180 Seinfeld episodes."

With the already $3.1 billion worth in TV syndication, the streaming services of the famed show is only going to bring in more income for the creators and production company.

Netflix's Friends agreement reportedly occurred for more than $500,000 an episode. So, perhaps they're trying to save some money for a while?

The WSJ notes, "The Friends agreement with Netflix runs for four years, which may be too short for some of the Seinfeld bidders. One suitor said a price tag higher than Friends doesn't make sense if the contract is for less than ten years."

And if you're a Seinfeld fan, you know that even in 10, 12, 15 years you're still going to want to watch the show. Honestly, we can't get enough of Jerry, Elaine, Kramer and George, can we?

So, just how much income will come to David and Seinfeld? Well, we don't know, but it's been reported that David's net worth is around $900 million already, and the latter's being $800 million, according to Business Insider. But, of course, David recently denied that on last week's episode of 60 Minutes.
