X-Factor Host 2012: Mario Lopez Denies Feud with Khloe Kardashian, 'Haven't Even Worked Together' Yet [VIDEO]

It is official - former "Saved by the Bell" star Mario Lopez and reality show tycoon Khloe Kardashian Odom are the new hosts of "X-Factor" U.S.A. 2012 and will join the Fox singing competition in November. Rumors have it that the two are already butting-heads and feuding, but 39-year-old Lopez insists such claims can't be true because the duo hasn't even worked together yet. According to Lopez, 28-year-old Kardashian is "sweet" and that they are "going to have a lot of fun" together on the show.

Lopez and Kardashian will replace former "X-Factor" U.S.A. host Steve Jones - creator Simon Cowell said in a statement released on Tuesday: "The worst kept secret in Hollywood is out."

Following the news, a report in the National Enquirer already made Lopez and Kardashian out to be the new Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey: "The show hasn't even started taping yet and the knives are out! Mario thinks Khloe is an airhead, and she thinks he's a muscle-bound stuffed shirt. They're already vying for the spotlight, and the real competition is going to be which one will be the bigger pain in the butt for X Factor brass when production starts."

The report goes on to insinuate an even bitter feud: "They both demanded exactly the same amount of air time, a completely even distribution of promotional commitments, the same dressing room trailers and the same down-to-the-penny wardrobe, hair, and makeup budgets."

But according to Lopez, that's all just silly nonsense. During a recent appearance on the "Wendy Williams Show," Lopez actually joked about the rumors, exclaiming, "We haven't even worked together! We haven't even started!"

Lopez actually goes on to laud the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star: "We haven't started working together yet so how could we be fighting. She's sweet. I've known Khloe for a long time, the whole [Kardashian] family for that matter... So she's sweet and we're going to have a lot of fun."
