Samantha Steele Dating Christian Ponder? Vikings Quarterback Confirms Relationship with ESPN Host on Twitter

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder let it slip on Twitter that he is currently dating the gorgeous ESPN host Samantha Steele. An awesome start to the NFL regular season and now a bombshell blonde girlfriend? Looks like 24-year-old Ponder has a lot of good things going for him at the moment.

On Thursday, a fan tweeted the #76 Viking:

And Ponder actually responded and confirmed the news:

Another fan tweeted back, "I'm impressed."

Suave Ponder responded to that with,

All of this follows a goofy and flirtatious tweet and Twitpic Ponder sent out on Oct. 9:

Many ESPN groupies must be extremely jealous of Ponder right about now.

Recent reports also had it that 26-year-old Steele was dating Cincinnati Reds baseball player Drew Stubbs. Looks like Ponder may have beat him to the punch.

Steele is currently a host for the Longhorn Network and an ESPN football and basketball sideline reporter. In August, it was announced that she would replace Jenn Brown on the sidelines during ESPN's Thursday Night Football. She also co-hosts ESPN's College Gameday."
