'Five Nights At Freddy's 3' Game Creator Donates St. Jude's Children Hospital With $250K! [WATCH]

The horror/survival videogame, Five Nights at Freddy's, returned with its latest third installment and made its debut on Steam Greenlight page. Scott Cawthon, creator of Five Nights at Freddy's 3, donated a record-setting sum of $250,000 to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

In the original Five Nights at Freddy's, the gamer plays as the nighttime security guard, Mike Schmidt. The animal animatronic animal characters have been coming back to life when the sun goes down. You have to protect yourself from the malfunctioning killer animals and dodge them by tracking their movements through the security cameras.

As we previously mentioned, the narrative take place 30 years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza has closed it's doors. The bloody events that took previously place have become nothing more than a rumor. Since memories of the past have gone away, the new owners of "Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction" are determined to revive the legend.

The official description continues, "At first there were only empty shells, a hand, a hook, an old paper-plate doll, but then a remarkable discovery was made...The attraction now has one animatronic."

According to Gamespot, there was a fundraising marathon between Twitch streamer Dawko and Cawthon. The stream was part of a partnership between the video streaming service and St. Jude Children's Hospital called "Play Live." According to the official site, participants can promote St. Jude on their streams to earn rewards like community service hours for money that they raise.

Operating through donations from charity drives, St. Jude provides free medical care for children affected by cancer. Cawthon has not released a statement about the generous donation, but we're pretty sure those children are grateful he did.
