The hard times keep on coming for Fashion Police. The E! comedy series, which just lost Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin, has been having some serious issues following a comment that Giuliana Rancic made about Zendaya Coleman, but now it looks like the show might be headed toward cancellation. The series has hit rocky ground since the death of Joan Rivers last year, and it doesn't look like the show was able to find its stride after the untimely passing of the comedienne. While there have been rumors that the show was about to bite the dust, it seems that for now the network has put it on hiatus for an extended period of time.

According to Radar Online, the network will hope to tie the new season in with the fall award season and is saving the show till September.

"E!'s comedy series Fashion Police is going on hiatus and will return in September," the site reported.

While many celebrities, including Khloé Kardashian, Kristin Cavallari and NeNe Leakes were rumored to be taking over the open positions, the news site is reporting that should one of them be hired, they will be waiting a couple months to take over the gig.

"We look forward to taking this opportunity to refresh the show before the next awards season," the network explained in a statement via Huffington Post. "Our talented co-hosts Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski, along with executive producer Melissa Rivers, will continue their roles as we evolve the show into its next chapter for the legions of Fashion Police fans around the world."

We'll miss the weekly episodes, but hopefully this hiatus will give the show some time to cool off after all the recent scandals and controversies.
