'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice's Husband Joe a No Show Following Cheating Scandal: Stood Wife Up in Prison

Poor Teresa Giudice! Not only is the RHONJ star stuck behind bars for the next few months, but now it seems she cannot even get her husband to make a visit to see her. Granted, Joe Giudice has had a pretty busy week for himself, as he has been trying to clear up the rumors that started circling, saying he had cheated on the Real Housewives of New Jersey star while she's spending time in prison. But now it appears Joe might be too embarrassed to face his wife as he was a no-show during a trip to go visit her over the weekend.

That's right: During the family outing to see Ter in prison, Joe was notably absent, according to Radar Online. All four of the couple's daughters, along with Teresa's mother, journeyed to the Danbury, Connecticut, prison Sunday, March 15, but when they got there the reality star was shocked to notice that Joe wasn't with them.

One of the housewife's inmates spoke out to In Touch Weekly, saying, "She can't believe he wasn't even man enough to show his face."

But the reason Joe might not have made the visit up north is that Teresa told him to keep a low profile in the wake of the scandal.

"She told him to lay low and not attract any press," an insider told the site. "She is in total denial that Joe cheated on her before she went to prison. She is saying she wont even bother to ask Joe about it and blamed the haters for the whole thing."

Joe recently spoke out about the cheating rumors, saying they were nothing but that: rumors.

He opened up to Us Weekly last week about his alleged mistress, saying, "I did not flirt with her. I did not make out with her, nothing happened between us. Everything In Touch is saying that happened between us are lies."
