Jill Blackstone Arrested For Murder, Did 'Jerry Springer' Producer Stage Deaf & Blind Sister's Suicide? Carbon Monoxide Death Suspicious

Several reports confirm that longtime television producer Jill Blackstone was arrested for murder charges earlier this month. Authorities believe that Blackstone staged her own sister's suicide.

According to TMZ, the lifeless body of 49-year-old Wendy Blackstone (who was deaf and partially blind) was found in the "Jerry Springer" exec's San Fernando Valley home on Saturday (March 14). Jill stated that her sister committed suicide, although police were immediately suspicious. Apparently, three dogs were also discovered dead in the garage.

Wendy's body showed no signs of trauma, and Jill was later arrested while the coroner conducted a thorough toxicology report. She was ultimately released on Wednesday (March 18) upon further investigation.

The deceased sister allegedly left a suicide note, but police believe it was likely written by Jill.

It was later determined that Wendy died from carbon monoxide poisoning. But authorities still insist that the entire scene was actually staged. A BBQ grill containing ashes was found near Wendy's feet - she was supposedly clutching the "fake" handwritten note. Murder is still a prime concern.

Jill initially told paramedics that she also passed-out from the fumes before crawling to a phone and calling a friend. The police were then notified that Jill was potentially suffering a stroke. She was hospitalized for  two days with "severe carbon monoxide poisoning" - after her release on Monday, Jill was arrested.

Details surrounding the whole shocking incident still remain unknown. But according to a TMZ update, no one had seen Wendy since last Thursday (March 12). Besides her sister, of course. The exact cause of death will not be released until the Coroner's Office gets toxicology results.

Blackstone worked on several popular daytime talk shows, including "Sally Jessy Raphael" , "Rosie," "Dr. Drew," "The Real," "Sharon Osbourne," and various court series.
