Ashley Greene Red Hair: 'Twilight' Star Goes from Brunette to Fiery Redhead [PHOTOS]

"Twilight" star Ashley Greene has dyed her hair red, transforming her typically brunette mane to fierce and fiery redhead locks! The 25-year-old actress debuted her new and bold look in Manhattan on Saturday - just in time to promote the last installment of the "Twilight Saga," "Breaking Dawn - Part 2."

Before premiering her new do', Greene (who plays vampire Alice Cullen in the popular "Twilight" films) tweeted this from NYC on Friday:

@AshleyMGreene: "Jason Backe is working some magic on my hair at the Ted Gibson salon," the Twilight star tweeted on Friday from New York City. "It's going to be crazy and exciting."

After her NYC rendezvous, Greene jetted off to South Africa to promote her upcoming film, "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2."

More good news for Greene fans - the actress recently graced the cover of the November issue of Marie Claire. In the feature story, Greene had this to day about her love life:

"I've gotten very good at detaching whenever I have to go away for three months, which I realize is hard on friends and kind of selfish. You go on a couple of dates, and then someone ships off to do a movie. It's not like you're going to fly out and see them, because it's not serious enough for that. I'm always here and there-everyone in my industry is-and that's why a lot of relationships are fleeting."

Greene has also made it very clear that she believes she's too young for marriage, and would like to focus on her successful career at-the-moment.
