Fans may find the vampire love scenes between Edward and Bella in the hit novel-turned-film series "Twilight" sexy and intense, but according to heartthrob Robert Pattinson, such love-making scenes with co-star (and supposed current girlfriend) Kristen Stewart in the most recent installment, "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," were just plain ridiculous.

26-year-old Pattinson was out promoting the new film in Australia recently, and stopped by the "Kyle and Jackie O" radio show. "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," which premieres in theaters November 16, is the first "Twilight" movie where Edward and Bella get it on both as vampires (Stewart's character was "transformed" in the previous film). And according to Pattinson, such fierce sexy-time isn't all it's cracked out to be: "It's just because you're kind of shooting stuff to be PG-13... It's just trying to think of inventive ways to make something sexy. It can't just be a normal sex scene. It's supposed to be about, like, the greatest vampire sex you've ever had."

Pattinson goes on to explain:

"We're just sitting there by ourselves. There wasn't even anyone else in the scene. We're doing it just to the camera, and the camera man is laughing as well. You try and give a face of ecstasy - guys faces aren't really designed to do that," he laughed.

Stewart seems to agree that vampire sex is actually pretty difficult - the 22-year-old once stated in an interview, "The ratings, man! (It's) a tricky thing... because we're supposed to have mind-boggling, otherworldly... sex. In the first one, "Breaking Dawn 1," we really... this is weird... tried to keep the first one sweet. It's about self-discovery. Nothing about this series is raunchy. And I know that... But in the second one, we just wanted to be animals. We're not human anymore. How do you do that? We tried, and they told us it was rated R, and we were like (snaps fingers). So, yeah, that was that."

So now that Pattinson and Stewart are supposedly back together (following Stewart's infidelity with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders over the summer), wonder if the duo enjoys bringing their Edward and Bella personas behind their own closed bedroom doors?
