'LHHNY' Season Finale: Yandy Smith Becomes a Harris at Baby Shower in Surprise 'Commitment Ceremony' [WATCH]

Yandy Smith is now a Harris! The LHHNY star didn't tie the knot with Mendeecees Harris just yet, but instead changed her name with a surprise commitment ceremony. During Monday night's March 30 season finale, Yandy shocked everyone, including her baby shower guests, and Mendeecees with a surprise commitment ceremony after opening gifts, eating cake and celebrating the family's new baby Skylar, who was born in January.

At the shower, Yandy signed the paperwork to change her last name to Harris. MStars News previously reported that Yandy wanted to become a Harris before her daughter was born, but didn't want a wedding ceremony while she was pregnant.

"We wanted to make sure that I was a Harris, before ... I always said that if I have another child, I don't want my child to be born with a different last name then mine," Yandy said in an interview.

As for her wedding, Yandy, now a Harris, said, "I have dreamt about this my whole entire life, and all of my girlfriends who have seen us fight, seen me cry, seen me happy, seen me so excited ... they need to be a part of it."

She continued, "There's so many people that helped us stay together, there's so many people that didn't want to see us together ... so it's like 'let us show them.'"

Like everyone else, Yandy had us scratching our heads figuring out what we should call this event. As long as these two parents are satisfied and proud to join together as one, who cares if their last names are the same?

We're just waiting on that wedding! MStars News previously reported that Yandy's baby shower was so over the top it makes you wonder how is their wedding is going to turn out!
