Jessica Simpson's Father, Joe Admits to Being Gay? Male Lover May Have Been In The Car With Him During DUI

Jessica Simpson's father, Joe Simpson allegedly came out the closet and admitted that he is gay. One month ago, Joe and wife, Tina Simpson had put their house up for sale prompted immediate speculation that the couple were divorcing after 34 years of marriage.

According to the National Esquire's source, the former pastor and Baptist minister told his family, "He told them that he'd tried to continue in his marriage to Tina, but he couldn't go on any longer and deny the fact that he had these feelings for men."

Allegedly, the singer's father and manager have been seeing another 20-something year old man that may have been in the car with him during his DUI bust on August 4. His wife Tina, filed the divorce papers in McLennan County, Texas in September and cited, "discord or conflict of personalities."

No official statement has been released about the divorce, but the rumored reason behind it is explosive. The separated couple $4 million Los Angeles home is still up for sale.
