Bruce Springsteen performed in Charlottesville, Virginia Tuesday for a free concert for an Obama rally. About 5,000 people showed up to hear the singer sing six of his classics like, "Thunder Road" and "Promised Land."

Springsteen decided to interact with the crowd and let them in on a conversation he had with President Obama. The singer said Obama called him looking for a campaign song and asked if he could write one. The Boss impersonated the President for the whole audience (which was pretty good.)

The singer wanted to use the campaign's slogan "Forward" and asked the crowd to yell it out on his signal. As he played the guitar his lyrics started off:

"I kissed your sister and I kissed your mama/ Usually this time of day I'm still in my pajamas/Lets vote for the man who got Osama/ Forward and away we go."

The singer admitted that was his best verse, but towards the third verse, Springsteen got a little creative and had the crowd laughing uncontrollably:

"Romney got schooled twice by Obama/ Smilin' Joe Biden brought the drama/Fox News said he been smoking Marijuana/ Forward and away we go"
