'The View' Rosie O'Donnell Replacement Found: Raven-Symoné, Roseanne Barr, Mario Cantone in Running

Get ready to see a whole new view, as the panel on the long-running ABC morning talk show The View is about to get yet another makeover. While Whoopi Goldberg, Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez will most likely stay put, the producers have been anxiously trying to find another co-host to fill the open spot that was left by Rosie O'Donnell earlier this year. While the show has been having guest hosts fill the seat for now, as O'Donnell left to minimize that stress in her life following a heart attack and a messy divorce, they're looking to find someone more permanent for the program, according to Radar Online. Well, it seems like they might have found a few pretty solid options for the replacement gig. "They really like Raven-Symoné," a source explained to the news site, and the insider also said that the show might get a dose of a male perspective as "Mario Cantone could get a recurring contract." Another possibility is Roseanne Barr.

But while these two seem to be the frontrunners for the gig, it doesn't mean they will automatically get the position, as the site reports that the producers "will have a more in-depth selection process than last time."

Also, according to E! News, Roseanne could possibly be heading to the talk show in the fall. The news site reported that while there has been talk about the comedienne joining the show, a contract is still far off, as Barr's reps still haven't been contacted about it.

While the show has been a revolving door of co-hosts in the last couple years, producers reassured fans that "the panel that debuts in the fall will be the panel for the year."
