In a recent interview with "Rolling Stone" magazine, President Barack Obama uses profanity to describe his competition, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Obama's interview with "Rolling Stone" executive editor Eric Bates hits newsstands on Friday (Oct. 26), in which he insinuates that Romney is a "bullshi##er." Some critics are now slamming the Prez for such a "classless" and "inappropriate" comment - is Obama trying a little too hard to look "cool" in order to attract younger voters in the upcoming November election?

Politico reports that Obama makes many jabs at Romney and Wall Street during his "Rolling Stone" interview - but it was the "bulls##t" comment that really caught critics' attention. Here is the snide comment Obama made regarding Romney:

(After discussing something about his daughter) - "You know, kids have good instincts. They look at the other guy and say, 'Well, that's a bullshi##er, I can tell.'"

Harsh.

According to White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer, Obama was simply referring to the issue about Romney's trust. Pfeiffer insists people should "not be distracted by the word, [but] focus on the issue."

Romney's campaign spokeswoman Amanda Henneberg shot back in an email to the National Journal:

"President Obama talks about trust, but he has broken virtually every promise that Candidate Obama made in 2008-including his pledges to turn around our economy, cut the deficit, and change politics as usual in Washington. Voters realize that we can't afford four more years like the last four, and Mitt Romney has laid out real plans to get our country back on track. In two weeks, Americans will choose his positive agenda over President Obama's failed leadership."

So what do Mstarz readers think - did Obama make the explicit remark because he understands "Rolling Stone" is a rather liberal publication that happens to cater to many younger readers? Was the "bulls##t" comment a means of making such young readers open up their eyes and pay more attention?

Whatever the case, some people aren't too happy about the Prez using such profanity:

According to one article on the opinion website SodaHead, Obama's cursing "shows his state of mind and how desperate he is becoming." Another blogger wrote, "He's a classless act. I'm sure that he uses his potty mouth at the dinner table."

This is not the first time Obama has used such "inappropriate" language - he once referred to the rapper Kanye West as a jacka## (although indeed a very talented musician).
