Apparently, rapper Big Sean is definitely #TeamWeezy when it comes to Lil Wayne's ongoing feud with Cash Money Records CEO, Birdman. The New Orleans "legend" deserves more respect!

The 32-year-old "A Milli" emcee is featured on Sean's popular song, "Deep." Ariana Grande's boyfriend was honored to have The Carter V hypeman featured on his new 2015 album, Dark Sky Paradise. In fact, Sean is truly humbled that weezy even agreed to lend some verses. In a recent interview with AOL Build, the 27-year-old mixtape mastermind revealed:

"I'm not signed to Lil Wayne, so for another artist like that to big up another rapper, I really appreciated him putting his ego aside. And when I talked to him he was just like 'Yo, I really meant that. I'm just really impressed by you. Just how you are as a person. Your rap, your ability. And he was like 'I called that a long time ago. I think you was gonna be one of the greats.' So, that was just cool to hear that from him. Because I don't make any money with Lil Wayne. Aside from the features we're on."

Although Sean doesn't directly mention the epic industry "showdown," he clearly supports the YMCMB superstar:

"Obviously, you gotta respect Wayne for what he's done. You can't talk about rap music and not mention Lil Wayne. He changed the game."

Meanwhile, Weezy continues promoting a slew of new "surprise" projects - withou Birman's help and recognition...

Fans can expect Wayne's new "revenge" album #FreeWeezy to hit airwaves sometime next month. Keep an eye on Twitter for further updates as things also intensify on Instagram.
