Fans React to Yandy and Mendeecees New Spin-Off Show: 'The Harris Family' - Will You be Watching? [DETAILS]

Looks like fans got a double dose surprise with Yandy Smith and her fiance, Mendeecees Harris. MStars News previously reported that Yandy shocked everyone with a surprise commitment ceremony changing her last name from Smith to Harris.

"We wanted to make sure that I was a Harris, before ... I always said that if I have another child, I don't want my child to be born with a different last name then mine," Yandy explained in a interview.

Yandy told her family and friends that she wanted to change her name before her daughter, Skylar, was born back in January.

Now MStars News has learned that the family will have their own spin-off show, The Harris Family coming soon to VH1 and some thing that may be the real reason behind the name change.

In the Instagram post below, Mendeecees announced the family's new show and wrote: "That's wassup!! #TheHarrisFamily #VH1 Coming Soon.."

But with all the surprises, are fans happy for the family and planning on watching the new show? According to The Shade Room, and Mendeecees Instagram post, some of the responses may not give Yandy and Mendeecees' new show the ratings they are praying for.

From the looks of the couple's Instagram accounts, it seems they have already been in production for the new show. In the photo below, it appears that Yandy and Mendeecees are shopping for wedding rings, as Mendeecees wrote in a similar snapshot: "Tell Yandy to lighten up...I was just snappin on her having no shirt on at work. You being artistic again huh?! #TheHarrisFamily #Givenchy," adding two film emoji's.
