Michael Keaton is stepping once again to the Saturday Night Live stage this coming Saturday, April 4. It'll be Keaton's third time hosting the iconic sketch show, and he's doing so because of that little known film Birdman he did last year. You know, the one which one the Oscar for Best Picture. The film leaves many comedy fans excited for Keaton's return to SNL. And to celebrate (and get us all pumped), the show just dropped the promos...

Accompanied by key player – and once-upon-a-time Weekend Update anchor Cecily Strong – Keaton hams up his Batman (not Birdman) fame and even partakes in some absurdist bits.

Take a look at Keaton's work with Strong here:

Joining Keaton on the show will be the one and only "Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen. It'll be the singer's debut performance on SNL.

Keaton was recently up for the Oscar for Best Actor in this year's Academy Awards ceremony due to his performance in Birdman. He lost out to Eddie Redmayne for The Theory of Everything.

Many believe the loss to be an enormous snub to the actor. Late Show host Dave Letterman talked about the Academy's snub – calling them "old drunks" – on Keaton. Check out his comments here:

Afterwards, Keaton took to his Instagram account to thank him.

Thanks very very much to Dave Letterman for his comments Monday night!!!!!
