Erin Heatherton and Leonardo DiCaprio Break Up: Victoria's Secret Supermodel and 'Great Gatsby' Actor Split, No Bad Blood

Reports confirm that the beautiful Victoria's Secret supermodel Erin Heatherton and actor Leonardo DiCaprio (star of the highly-anticipated 2013 movie adaptation of the "Great Gatsby"), have broken up after almost one year of dating. One inside source reveals to Us Weekly that the couple parted ways about a week ago, but that the split was not due to any bad blood and that the duo still deeply cares for one another.

Heatherton and DiCaprio first stepped out as a couple back in December 2011, not too long after the 37-year-old "Titanic" actor broke things off with actress and spring/summer-fling Blake Lively (who is now married to actor Ryan Reynolds). According to Us Weekly's inside source, DiCaprio recently parted ways with his 23-year-old blonde bombshell main squeeze because "they're both just really busy, they had crazy schedules." DiCaprio has had one heck of a busy year due to his career - in 2012 alone he traveled to Australia to shoot "Great Gatsby" (out May 2013), then he flew out to New Orleans to film "Django Unchained" (which hits theaters on Dec. 25) and he currently wrapping up "Wolf of Wall Street" in NYC. Apparently the nonstop Hollywood heartthrob was recently spotted celebrating Halloween in NYC with a group of models at Cipriani 42nd Street.

According to the inside source, "There's no bad blood - they still care about each other a lot... They still love and respect each other very much. It was just time to move on."

Heatherton wasn't DiCaprio's first supermodel romance - the popular Hollywood bachelor also dated Gisele Bundchen (from 2001-2005) and Bar Refaeli (2006-early 2011).
