Season 3 of The Americans continues with Episode 10 on FX. After the death of Betty Turner (Lois Smith) and defying Gabriel (Frank Langella), will undercover spies Elizabeth (Keri Russell) and Philip (Matthew Rhys) Jennings keep their covers from being blown by unleashing their 'Stingers?'

Paige (Holly Taylor)'s pastor pays a visit to Philip's travel agency. Pastor Tim is planning a trip abroad, hoping to convince Paige and her entire family to join. Philip tells the pastor that having kids is not the same as having a flock.

Stan (Noah Emmerich) is at the theater watching Tootsie with the defector. Stan and his team escort her to the bathroom, where she leaves a  hidden note. While Henry is hiding his nude pictures, Philip gets a call from work and leaves the dinner table. As Jim, Philip finds Kimberly (Julia Garner) drunk at a frat party.

Nina (Annet Mahendru) tries to help the scientist, her target, but he doesn't trust her.  Philip drops off Kimberly on her her bed, realizing he's the only one who cares about her. While Kimberly is in the bathroom, Philip gets what he needs from her father's briefcase. Philip then shows Elizabeth what was in the recording.

Philip and Elizabeth suddenly spot Paige at their workplace, keeping her distracted. Stan shows up at the Jennings' home, hands Henry a printed movie. As their covers, Philip and Elizabeth are at a restaurant. While Elizabeth notices a shift change, she checks them into the hotel.

Henry visits Stan and finds the kitchen a mess. The two bond over Mrs. Beeman leaving, wondering if he should still live there or move. At the hotel room, Elizabeth seduces her target, Neil, and gets his number.

Philip meets with Gabriel and tells him his son is coming home from Afghanistan. Philip though doesn't want Gabriel's help in the matter. When they return home, Paige is at the kitchen table, upset with both of them. Breaking down, Paige wants to know what her parents are hiding.

Elizabeth tells Paige they were born in the Soviet Union; they're here to help their country. They're getting information as spies, serving peace and their country. Paige is too upset with them for not telling her the truth. They advise Paige she cannot tell anyone; including the pastor or Henry. Her parents will go to jail if she opens her mouth.

In the morning, Elizabeth checks up on Paige, who hasn't slept. After Henry does a great Eddie Murphy impression, Philip brings breakfast to Paige. She asks her parents to speak Russian and then wants to be alone.

Philip knows his daughter won't do anything stupid. Paige then makes a call to Pastor Tim and tells him a different version of what happened. During Stan's interrogation, he gets grilled about his divorce. He knows Martha may be involved but she's not at the office.

While Paige watches TV, the defector's message makes it back to the Center. Stan arrives for dinner, which hits Paige by surprise. Paige is caught in a web of lies as the family starts having dinner with Stan.
