Klay Thompson is a promising NBA "favorite" who officially signed a whopping $70 million contract with the Golden State Warriors back in November. The 25-year-old baller was recently named a 2015 "All-Star" and along with "Splash Brother" teammate Stephen Curry, set a professional record with 484 combined three-pointers in a season (2014).

But apparently, aspiring model Karrueche Tran could really care less!

Rumors initially suggested that the 26-year-old beauty was "rebounding" with Thompson after her highly-publicized break-up with hip-hop crooner, Chris Brown. As MstarsNews previously reported, the two started hanging out several months ago (before things turned romantic):

"She was with him last weekend, and they had a great time," a supposed MTO snitch reveals. "I think they're perfect for each other."

But Christina Milian's "bestie" finds the report laughable - because she doesn't even know who Thompson is!

While cruising around LA earlier this week, Tran told the infamous gossip webloid TMZ:

"I don't even know who that is."

So not only did she blatantly deny the dating buzz, but she sort of threw a major jab at Thompson.

Considering some people (including Wendy Williams) believe that Tran is a fame and money-seeking "groupie," maybe she should give Thompson a chance!

FYI - the Warriors maintain the top spot in Marc Stein's NBA power rankings for ESPN. The team's basically killing it with Thompson as shooting guard. He now has more than 415,000 followers on Instagram and counting.

Meanwhile, it looks like Tran's ready to give Breezy yet another chance... Good or bad idea?
