Ip Man is an award-winning movie series based on the legendary martial artist Ip Man. He was the Grandmaster of Wing Chun and more famously known for being one of Bruce Lee's biggest influences in his younger years. Now it seems the studio that developed Ip Man 3, Pegausus Motion Pictures, is now at odds with the Bruce Lee Estate. Lee's estate is not pleased that the film, which also stars boxing great Mike Tyson created a computer-generated Bruce Lee that used both Lee's likeness and voice in the film. This was a solid no-no to the estate.

"To state it in no uncertain terms, Bruce Lee Enterprises intends to seek all remedies available to it to stop Pegasus from including the computer-generated version of Bruce Lee in Ip Man 3," Kris Storti of the estate told the Hollywood Reporter

The decision to make a computer generated Bruce Lee came when producers decided there was nobody right for the role. Apparently there was not one actor could match the legend's intensity.

To make matters even more confusing Bruce Lee's brother, Robert Lee, was a consultant on the film. According to Pegasus, they believe Lee owns his brother's likeness while Bruce Lee Enterprises claims he wields no such power.

As for now the movie's future of this film's release will be decided entirely by lawyers. If it does come out, the film will star the great Tyson and is a part of his monumental comeback tour from his drug-addled boxing years when he went by the name Iron Mike.

Tyson signed onto the role after creating an account on a Chinese microblogging site and asked fans questions about the greatest fighters in China.

"Two years ago Mike Tyson opened up a Weibo account and the first question he asked was, 'Who is the best fighter in China?'" Pegasus' chairman told the Hollywood Reporter. "Someone answered him "Donnie Yen," and that gave me an idea. For the third installment in the Ip Man series, we want to have an explosive fight, and Mike Tyson versus Donnie Yen fits the bill."
