Meanwhile, the Red Wings maintain the steady No. 14 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 40-24-13 record. According to LeBrun:

"Speaking of a lackluster March, the Wings have won just five times in 14 games (5-8-1) heading into their March finale Monday night versus Ottawa."

Detroit snags the 3rd spot in the Atlantic Division.
