Whether it be because of the horrible death of actor Paul Walker or the incredible demand of Furious 7, there's a reason an AMC theater in Queens, New York has been forced to stay open all night long so that viewers can come in and get a glimpse at the cast. It's true; the theater has not shut down since this past Thursday night. Therefore, it's official: people love the Fast and the Furious series. The film was released this past Friday, April 3, and stars Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, and more.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that this is a very rare occurrence, with only a couple of other releases causing such excitement in the past: Harry Potter and Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight series.

AMC's Ryan Noonan tells the publication, "Our theaters don't want to end the night on a sellout, so as long as guests are still filling up the auditoriums, we keep the doors open and the popcorn hot."

Which is good, because American's love our popcorn.

Check out the trailer for Furious 7 here:

THR reports that this theater in Queens is the only one known to have stayed open all night for the film. It's being suspected that Furious 7 could garner in roughly $150 million over the weekend in North America alone. Worldwide totals are speculated to hit well above $300 million.

Which, of course, means that we're probably going to be introduced to a Fast and the Furious 8. Probably...
