The Entourage movie is gearing up to come out this summer, folks. And while we can certainly plan for a number of A-list celebrity cameos, it appears there's one guy creator Doug Ellin really wanted but couldn't get: President Barack Obama. In the below video, Kevin Connolly – who played Eric "E" Murphy in the series and the movie – was approached by none other than TMZ. It's here that he divulges that Ellin was pulling for the Prez. Of course, being that he's a little busy, it just didn't happen.
Luckily, the crew seems rather understanding.
Kicking off outside of some swanky Los Angeles restaurant, the cameraman approaches both Connolly and Jerry Ferrara, who plays Turtle, telling them he's "excited for the movie." Ferrara then (smartly) drifts away from the camera as he's on the phone, leaving Connolly a victim of some TMZ stalking.
"You see how he ducked that one?" joked Connolly.
The paparazzi then notes, "I feel like everyone in the world has a cameo in the Entourage movie..." To which Connolly interjects, "Except?"
And, well, it was the Prez. Check out the video from TMZ here:
Whether or not the cameraman waited around for some confirmation from Ellin is unknown.
A couple of weeks ago the Entourage crew released a new trailer for the film. Take a look below:
