Lil Wayne won't give up the highly-publicized fight against industry "bully," Bryan "Birdman" Williams. But things are getting pretty intense - and for now, it appears that Weezy is putting his music career with Cash Money Records on the backburner. Instead, he'd rather focus on his growing passion for skateboarding.

UPDATE: Lil Wayne's 'Beef' With Birdman Delays T-Pain's Hope For a 'T-Wayne' Collaboration Album?

The New Orleans emcee just activated an official Instagram. But his account is dedicated to the extreme sport and really has nothing to do with music:

And the Sorry 4 The Wait 2 rapper hasn't teased any new music in awhile. But he does continue supporting his new buddies within the world of amateur and professional skating.

Including J. Strickland, who just released an awesome collection of black-and-white career photos in a new book entitled "Shoot To Kill" (via Paradise Plus products). In a viral Instagram clip posted on LilWayneHQ.com, the YMCMB superstar states:

“Shout out to my man J. Strickland, you already know! 'Shoot To Kill,' watch ya motherf*ckin’ head cause you might be the target, check it out!”

Weezy does fnally plan on dropping two new releases very soon as a big "f*ck you" to Cash Money - The Carter V and #FreeWeezy Album. but what comes after that - will Wayne "give up" rapping for good amid the nonstop drama?

Several Twitter fans actually approve of Weezy's new "addiction" -

@blakethasnake_: "lil Wayne is actually decent at skateboarding lol wtf."

@Zae_Dot: "Has no one else noticed that Lil Wayne has gotten really good at skateboarding?"

‏@abathingdre: "Lil Wayne too damn raw at skateboarding. I feel like a proud dad for some reason."

@THEDROMAN: "lil wayne damn near getting good at skateboarding."

@DJ_G_REX: "#lilwayne #skateboarding I know a lot of you hating, but at least Lil Wayne can actually rip on a deck!"

Rumors suggest that Wayne might rock airwaves with some fresh tunes later this month.
