Lamar Odom (hubby of popular reality star Khloe Kardashian) was once named "NBA Sixth Man of the Year" in 2011 and proved a huge star in two NBA championship victories - but such conquests weren't achieved with Odom's current team, the Los Angeles Clippers. The 32-year-old basketball star reached true NBA fame with his old team, the LA Lakers. Although Odom started off his NBA career with the Clippers in 1999 and seems pretty happy about his 2012 return, it looks like his heart may still somewhat belong with the Lakers (or maybe he's just gotten so used to saying the word "Lakers" over "Clippers" in so many sports/product promos). Whatever the case, Odom mistakenly slipped the "L" word during a recent promotional video interview for the Clippers, for all those bitter Laker fans to enjoy.
Check out the pretty hilarious mix-up below. Hey, at least Odom can laugh at himself over the accidental team slipup:
He got the jersey right, and the state right, but the team... not so much. Maybe Odom wishes he was still playing for the Lakers? He played one season for the Miami Heat and even took a shot playing for the Dallas Maverkicks after leaving LA... but his game just hasn't been the same since leaving the Lakers.
So what do Mstarz fans think about the Clippers/Lakers screw up?
