It's about time! MStars News has learned that Derick and Jill Duggar Dillard finally welcomed their precious baby boy into the world Monday, April 6, and guess what? We were right! MStars News predicted that Jill would probably go into labor sometime on Monday, if she hadn't already, and it appears that Baby Dilly -- now known as Israel David -- decided to make his debut right on our time!

Things didn't go as planned for the new family, as we previously reported that Jill wanted to have a water birth. According to People, the Dillards welcomed their son Israel at a local hospital.

But no worries: The baby and parents are doing great, and we're sure Jill will have plenty of water births at home with midwives.

Israel David is one big baby, and that may have been why the parents delivered him in a hospital as opposed to at home. After all, baby Israel waited 42 weeks to make his appearance.

Baby Dilly, what the world used to call him, came out weighing in at 9 pounds 10 ounces! He arrived at 11:49 p.m. Monday night.

"We are so thankful for a healthy Mom and baby!" Grandparents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar wrote on their official Facebook page. "Love this sweet baby Israel! We are happy grandparents and we promise more pictures soon!"

Soon after, as promised, pictures were revealed of the new bundle of joy!

It's funny how Derick previously stated that he didn't want to feed his wife too much protein because he didn't want a 10-pound baby. Israel David was surely close!

"I am trying to eat healthy and keep up with walking and Derick does a great job," Jill said in an update.

Her husband added, "I'll try to ... add up her protein, and make sure we are getting at least 60 to 80 grams of protein a day." Derick continued, "You don't want to get too much, because I found out you don't want to have a 10 lb baby."

Jill was almost right when she said, "We'll see whenever Baby Dilly appears."

MStars News has been keeping up with Derick and Jill since the couple announced their pregnancy. Jill previously stated that they were planning on a late baby after Israel David went passed his expected due date of March 24.

"I have told myself, 'First-time moms often go a week and a half over, so don't get discouraged,'" Jill explained. "When everyone else is asking you, 'When are you going to have that baby?' The baby will come when the baby comes."
