Reports confirm that Lil Wayne recently dropped his whopping $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money Records. But don't get too excited - Weezy's bitter feud with Bryan "Birdman" Williams isn't over quite yet!

The YMCMB rapper now plans on refiling the case in New Orleans in order to smoothly move things along in the proper manner.

The Sorry 4 The Wait 2 emcee's lawyer Ron Sweeney tells bossip.com that both parties agreed to dismiss the case in New York City and will now continue their legal battle down south:

"We agreed to dismiss the lawsuit in New York... Based on the terms of the contract, the correct venue is arguably New Orleans. Instead of fighting, going back and forth."

Wonder what this means for Drake and Nicki Minaj?

Sweeney represents Wayne (along with lawyer Michael Kramer), but is not an official part of his legal team. Kramer did file cout papers in Manhattan on April 6 to confirm that the lawsuit was "voluntarily dismissed without prejudice."

As for the new case to be filed in Nola, Sweeney claims, "I'm assuming it's going to be post haste." Kramer could not be reached for comment.

Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated release of Weezy's new album The Carter V still remains a total mystery. Apparently Christina Milian's beau has a strong growing passion for skateboarding, but he's not giving-up on the crazy industry fight yet!

But hopefully such tensions don't rip the YMCMB crew apart. It already looks like Minaj is ready to move-on with Roc Nation's renowned and highly-successful mogul, Jay-Z:

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old "Knockout" superstar still remains rather mum on Twitter. Stay tuned as more details become available.
