Before its April premiere on Netflix, Scribd is offering readers a chance to catch up on Marvel's Daredevil. From the best-selling Daredevil comics, get to know Matt Murdock (played by Charlie Cox) as he switches back and from lawyer by day to crime-fighter by night.

As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals have given him back his sight. By day, Murdock pretends to be a blind lawyer attending courtroom battles. But when darkness falls, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice protecting Hell's Kitchen against crime.

From the official site, Scribd is offering subscribers a chance to read and listen to as many books in their librar. At your fingertips, publishers like HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, Macmillan, Marvel, and Valiant have something for everybody. Because streaming is the wave of the future, Scribd works on the Apple iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Nook, and any web browser.

Because Scribd is presenting The Many Sides of Daredevil, here are some Daredevil comics you should definitely read.

Daredevil by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson

As an origin story, this is the one for all new readers and longtime fans should have. Straight from the comics, Cox is dressed up like a ninja in his black outfit. If you need to start somewhere, this is a great place to begin.

Daredevil by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev

At the 2014 New York Comic Con, Cox stated he used this volume as a reference. Bendis wrote a courtroom scene that plays out similarly to the one in the Netflix series.

Daredevil by Mark Waid and Paolo Rivera

If you love The Flash on the CW network, you're going to love this run by Mark Waid. Why? The show has done a great job adapting Geoff Johns' Flashpoint, but the humorous, adventurous tone is all Waid's, who previously wrote Wally West's days as the scarlet speedster.
