USA's 'DIG' Recap: Episode 6: 'The Well Of Souls': Will Jason Isaacs, Ori Pfeffer Find Emma's Killer?

The highly anticipated thriller from by Tim Kring (Heroes) and Gideon Raff (Homeland), DIG, continues on USA Network. In episode 6, will FBI agent Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs), detective Golan Cohen (Ori Pfeffer) follow Emma Wilson (Alison Sudol)'s clues to 'The Well of Souls?"

Golan arrives at the crime scene, where Yussef Khalid (Omar Metwally)'s dead body is. He takes a clue from the site, thinking it will lead him somewhere. Debbie (Lauren Ambrose) explains to Charlie (Dean Chekvala) the cult is interested in bringing about the apocalypse.

While Peter is looking into Emma's drawings, Lynn (Anne Heche) wants him to stop what he's doing and help out with Yussef's corpse. After getting a name, Peter heads out to a psychiatric institution to meet Gregory Donaldson. The patient, Gregory, suffers from Jerusalem syndrome and craved his chest. After Peter discovers a word on the wall, Gregory starts a fight with him. 

Golan follows the key and discovers the owner is a barman. Unable to make the call to the FBI, Charlie tells Debbie that he is still in love with her. While the two are screwing around in the bathroom, a crooked working for Ted Billingham (David Costabile) spots their car. 

Avram (Guy Selnik) doesn't realize he's sitting in the car with his stalker. At their resting stop, the stalker breaks into a building. Peter discovers Gregory received a letter from his biological father, who had been kidnapped by an secret society. While Peter has a key and serial number, Golan thinks he has Emma's killer in his grasp. 

While Avram takes a bath in ice, Debbie unlocks the chain to Josh's leg to show kindness and trust. Peter doesn't believe the evidence right in front of him. Golan and Peter chase after the barman and catch him in the street.

Peter thinks they have the wrong man, a patsy, but Golan doesn't believe his crazy theories. Avram is suspicious of his stalker while eating food with him. Peter tries to get Lynn to help him before the barman makes his statement. While Lynn hurries to the police station, Debbie spots Josh trying to get a toy. While Debbie shows Josh the stars, the well of souls, the police and Ted arrive at the motel.

Debbie and Josh make their getaway in the police car. Peter uses Golan's son to get him out of the interrogation room. Golan breaks back into the room and fights Peter. After the barman winks at him, Peter accidentally punches out Lynn. 

While the stalker is sleeping, Avram makes a run for the nearest bar and asks for a phone. Rabbi Levi hears everything that happened and realizes they are dealing with an intruder. The rabbi wants Avram to kill his stalker and call him afterwards.

The stalker wakes up, steals Avram's knife, and takes him to the woods. He then plunges the knife next to Avram's head and lets him live. Lynn fires Peter and sends him back to the states. Peter apologizes to Golan and hands him the key, warning him that the suspect will kill himself.  

While Josh hides in the car, Debbie heads into the FBI building. Debbie gets a call from Ted, warning her that he will kill Charlie if she squeals. Avram discovers the sacred cow is gone. 

Ambassador Ruth Ridell (Regina Taylor) pays a visit to  archeologist Ian Margrove (Richard E. Grant) in the well of souls, which is underneath a temple. Back in his room, Peter grabs knife and spots Emma, still alive, asking for his help.
