Everyone talks about fantasy crossovers. One that comes to mind is a potential Sony X-Men/Fantastic Four film and while that one is cool to think about, a crossover of epic proportions just happened and it makes that idea just another monthly singular issue that comes and goes. 50 Cent has announced in Fortune Magazine that he'll be working with Marvel. While he won't be in any movies for now, what he will be doing is making special edition comic headphones with his company SMS Audio. The future may just hold Daredevil or Spider-Man headphones styled like Beats.

50 Cent's company, SMS Audio, has worked with Walt Disney and Star Wars in the past and his newest ventures with Reebok and Marvel has everything to do with how powerful those brands have been.

"It's cool, because I'm cool, so that makes the whole thing cool," he told Fortune. "Those brands don't go anywhere. They're not going away."

In the past, Spider-Man and Captain America headphones were developed in the style of Beats but those looked like children's headphones. According to Brian Nohe, SMS' President, these won't.

"It won't look toy-like," Nohe explained. "All that stuff we do, it's classy. Like on 'The Avengers' headphones, it won't be a picture of Thor running around. It will be a little symbol, and have the same colorways."

In classic 50 fashion, he fired a shot at Beats. According to 50, his Brand is Adidas and Beats "is Nike." He plans to make the SMS brand international.

You have to root for 50 on this one. If he makes Marvel and Disney a lot of money with these headphones, there's a big chance they'll throw the guy a bone and have him live out his dream of one day playing a super hero.

"I want to be a Marvel superhero," 50 said in an interview with MTV News last year. "But I want to be a bad guy. I want to be a bad-bad guy, the kind that you start to like."
