Some new intriguing possibilites about the Arrow/Flash spinoff series have emerged thanks to a set photo,

It's unclear from which series this photo comes, but it seems more likely that it would be The Flash. Check out the photo over at Comic Book Movie.

In other news, season 3 of the CW's Arrow is progressing toward its finale, but fans have an eye on the upcoming Arrow/Flash spinoff. The man under the hood himself, Stephen Amell, commented on the spinoff and his role in it in a recent appearance at FanExpo Vancouver 2015.

"I would imagine that I will be appearing on all three shows," Amell said. "I would imagine that we will be sprinkling characters in. I know that there's a plan for one character who originated on Arrow and is not one of the main characters on the new spinoff to sort of hover between all three shows and that will be their job, so to speak. So you'll see a lot of interconnectivity next year."

Check out the full panel with Amell below:

Deadline reports that Broadway actress Ciara Renee has joined the series as Kendra Saunders aka Hawkgirl. "Kendra Saunders is a young woman who is just beginning to learn that she has been repeatedly reincarnated over the centuries. When provoked, her ancient warrior persona manifests itself, along with wings that grow out of her back, earning her the moniker…Hawkgirl."

The Hollywood Reporter also notes that Arthur Darvill is in final talks to play the time-traveling Rip Hunter aka the Traveler. The site describes him as "a roguish time traveler who hides the strains of being responsible for history itself behind a facade of charm and wit."

A major question about the show is just how Caity Lotz will return as Sara Lance, who died in the Season 3 premiere of Arrow. "I think by the Spring, you'll know," Andrew Kreisberg said in an interview with Green Arrow TV. "We want to keep some surprises going, but we're really excited about that series.... just to add another leg to the tripod, and complete it. We'll get to see some of the characters that we've seen and introduce a whole bunch of new characters, and show them all in a different way, and have the show really feel different. As different as Flash feels from Arrow, this new show will feel different from both of them."

Kreisberg also addressed the show's title. "It’s still very early in the process on that," he said. "We had to make sure to get as much of the cast set as we could before we sat down to break this mega-series with all of these characters, rather than do that and have people say they’re not interested."
