Last night, HBO aired the Season 5 premiere of their hit series Game of Thrones. And while it was undoubtedly a crowd pleaser, the author of the books which the series is based on, George R.R. Martin, was busy dropping his own new project: Lil Thrones. That's right, Martin decided to create an animated cartoon parody of his famed Game of Thrones hit. And who better to unveil the video to the public than Conan O'Brien and his crew over at Team Coco?

Okay, so none of that is true. But Martin did indeed feature in a parody video for Lil Thrones on the Team Coco website. In the below clip, the author introduces a more kid-friendly version of the famed HBO hit.

Well, not too kid-friendly, of course.

Really, we're not too sure how kid-friendly Game of Thrones can get.

"I'm pleased to announce a brand new cartoon series for kids," Martin says in the below video. "It's called Lil Thrones..."

Take a look at the sneak peak here:

So, folks, which would your rather show your kids: Lil Thrones or Game of Thrones?

Tough choice, huh?

Around the time the video dropped, Team Coco released a video of the last time Martin appeared on the TBS series. During his interview with O'Brien, they showed a clip of a number of fan reactions to the infamous "Red Wedding" scene.
