After learning about the heartbreak Tamika Fuller is facing from losing her daughter, Cai Bella, in a custody battle to rapper Ludacris, MStars News has learned that Fuller's lawyer, Lisa West, is finally speaking out about Ludacris and Fuller's custody case and informing mothers in the same situation on what to do to if they find themselves under the same circumstances.

In a interview with Madame Noire, West says that she believes that "money" was the deciding factor which helped Luda win sole custody of little Cai Bella.

"I believe the deciding factor was money, Ludacris has it; Tamika does not," West said.

West was confused on why the judge denied a new trial and she revealed that she and Fuller will be filing an appeal. The attorney said, "The judge gave absolutely no reason for denying our motion for a new trial. Our next step will be to appeal."

West feels like her client should be granted custody of her daughter because she claims Ludacris is a absent father, handing off his child off to others to help raise her.

The legal maven explained it like this, "Tamika should be granted custody of Cai because the evidence is irrefutable and undisputed that she has always been the primary parent of Cai and has always been a wonderful parent to Cai. Tamika, through great sacrifice and dedication, has dedicated her life to being Cai's parent and Cai has thrived under her nurturing and care." She added, "Ludacris, on the other hand, has not dedicated his life to being Cai's father. He is most often absent, making appearances, during which times he delegates his parenting responsibilities to third-parties."

When Tamika's lawyer was asked if she think her client's case should be used as an example in the justice system in which money and power wins over what's actually the right judgement, West didn't hesitate to say:

"Absolutely. It is difficult to believe that our 'justice system' can be influenced by money, power and wealth but it is true. When one Googles "'family court corruption,' the search results referencing tainted family court cases are overwhelming; and, very disturbing," she said.

West's advice to women in the same situation is: "I would advise them to attempt to formally settle the matter before going to court by retaining an attorney who does not have the reputation of colluding with the opposing party for the attorney's own benefit and who is willing to challenge the system." She added, "I would further advise them to be ready to fight for as long as it takes."

MStars News previously learned that Ludacris has a lot on his hands as he not only promotes his new album and new film Furious 7, but also prepares for a new baby as his wife, Eudoxie, is expecting the couple's first child together.

As for Tamika, she is busy working on raising funds to help get her daughter back, inform women in the same situation and pay her legal fees by creating a GoFundMe page.

Eudoxie's child will make three kids for the rapper, who also has a daughter named Karma.
