'RHONJ' Melissa Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita Season 7 Drama: Staging Fake Friendship?

Real Housewives of New Jersey might be in the middle of casting for the show's seventh season, but it looks like Melissa Gorga already has thought up an idea for her storyline. That's right, while the star's future with the series has yet to be confirmed, she is already throwing out some ideas for how she would like to see her screen time play out. According to new reports, Gorga has enlisted the help of her former co-star Jacqueline Laurita to be her new bestie, but only in front of the camera.

Radar Online is reporting that while Gorga and Laurita's relationship has been phony over the years, it seems that this year isn't going to be any different.

"When Melissa and Jacqueline were originally on the show together, Melissa was all over Jacqueline," an insider explained to the news site. "Then when Jacqueline wasn't on the show briefly for part of last season, Melissa dumped her like she was yesterday's news."

While season seven is still in the casting process, The Inquistr reported that Jacqueline, who made her return midway through season six would definitely be coming back for a full-time role when the series comes back to the airwaves.

It seems that since then Laurita has accepted the olive branch from Gorga, but only as a way for her to get back into the good graces of Bravo producers.

"Jacqueline has accepted Melissa's friendship again because Jacqueline wants Bravo to know she's in the loop with all the women. She needs the contract for next season," the source explained.

The two "besties" are also using social media to make it seem like they are chummy with each other and that they hangout all the time. Melissa posted a picture of her and Jacqueline to her Instagram account last month, writing, "Girls Night!"
