'Honey Boo Boo' Mama June Shannon Workout Pics - Alana Thompson Hits Treadmill in Sandals?

We should start calling Mama June Shannon "Mama Fergie," as the TLC reality star heated up the gym over the weekend. The former star of the beloved reality hit, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, showed the world that she does care about her health in a new photo shoot that showed her working out with her daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson. However, we aren't sure how much working out Alana is getting in, as in the pictures she is wearing sandals, which are pretty tough to workout in.

The slideshow was posted to Radar Online, which shows the family members working out in a Los Angeles gym together. Mama June wears a purple shirt with long athletic pants and shorts, while Alana wore a blue t-shirt, purple shorts and white sandals.

Alana hit the treadmill while her Mama decided to take on the free weights and she was even spotted laying on a gym mat doing some planks in one image.

The stars appeared on an episode of The Doctors where the hosts of the show told Alana that both her and her mother were overweight and they needed to get their fitness under control. According to Daily Mail, June and her daughter promised to return to the show in May after they started working out to show off their results.

The site is also reporting that personal trainer Fett, who has also worked with A-list celebrities including Matthew McConaughey, Heidi Klum and even Fergie, is also monitoring the pair. We guess we were right when we said that June was working on her fitness.
