Check out the viral video of the explosive on and off track fight between NASCAR racers Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer at the AdvoCare 500 race in Phoenix, AZ on Sunday, November 11. According to reports, Bowyer initially clipped Gordon's car, causing him to momentarily careen into a wall. Gordon then decided to take out his race frustrations on Bowyer, intentionally causing a multi-car collision and stripping Bowyer of his chances to qualify in the championship round. Following the on-track confrontation, the two racers then continued to fight in an all-out brawl on the racetrack sidelines. Basically, Phoenix NASCAR got a pretty exciting show that no one had expected.

According to USA Today, "Gordon intentionally wrecked Bowyer's No. 15 Toyota late in the AdvoCare 500, a move that ruined both cars and led to a melee between the teams in the garage and Bowyer to say that Gordon's action 'makes us look like a bunch of (idiots).'" Check out the huge NASCAR fight, including racecar drivers and crew members, below:

Bowyer insists, "It's pretty embarrassing for a four-time champion and what I consider one of the best the sport's ever seen to act like that. When you disrupt a championship hunt like that, it's too bad. They ask us not to do that at the drivers meeting and there's usually a lot of respect there." Apparently immediately following the crash, Bowyer got out of his car and ran straight towards Gordon. He was temporarily restrained by his crew before confronting Gordon and getting in a physical fist fight.

As for Gordon... well, he's not one to usually fight, but sometimes enough is enough - "It's just things have gotten escalated over the year, and I've just had it. Clint's run into me numerous times, wrecked me, and he got into me on the back straightaway and pretty much ruined our day. I've had it and was fed up with it and got him back," the popular racer told NASCAR officials.
