Mary-Kate Olsen cozied up to older boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy at the NY Knicks vs. Dallas Mavericks basketball game at Madison Square Garden on Friday (Nov. 9), and the duo didn't shy away from sharing some romantic PDA moments. Some fans may find the age difference too much - Olsen is 26 and Sarkozy is much older at 42 - and one awkward photo of Sarkozy grabbing the forehead of a shocked-looking Mary-Kate and planting a big wet one on her cheek might help to support that fact. Even so, the couple looked content and happy as they cheered on a Knicks victory, and quite frankly the former child star doesn't care what others may think of her relationship with a mature and older man.
Perhaps this was just an oddly-timed photo - the rest of the images from Olsen and Sarkozy's NYC date are actually pretty sweet, check them out.
Olsen openly flirted with her beau throughout the game, constantly whispering in his ear and grabbing on to his arm and leg. The duo attended the game with Sarkozy's two younger children from a previous relationship. Sarkozy is the managing director of the Carlyle Group's glacial financial services division and the half-brother of the former president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy.
In a recent interview with Wall Street Journal, Olsen defended her relationship with Sarkozy, stating - "Everyone has an opinion. I find it's better to focus on what's in front of you and to keep putting one foot in front of the other."
One insider once told Us magazine, "They are madly in love!"
So since age doesn't seem like such a big deal, good luck to the happy couple!
